The culmination of 3 years of mahi made during my Master of Creative Practice at Unitec.

To seed to sprout to seed is a 240 pg graphic novel following Pipiko, a lovable part-insect-part-human, across parallel timelines (it’s pretty weird). We watch two stories unfold alongside each other - Pip has a wild young thing, getting into trouble and causing mischief - and Pip in her late-20s, where that wild spark she had as a kid has faded.

The two timelines crash together, where we learn what took Pip’s spark away.

This pukapuka is dedicated to my beautiful Dad who sadly passed away before I was able to finish it. He taught me to cultivate a life worth living, and hold on to that wild spark.
